LPG Condensing Boilers What is LPG condensing boilers?
Let me explain
All domestic gas boilers supplied and installed today are classed, like high efficiency condensing boilers.
The only difference is, LPG condensing boilers use liquid petroleum gas, (LPG) instead of natural gas as their source of fuel.
They look and work the same way a natural gas boiler does.
If you live in the country, or your property is not connected to the mains gas grid, these boilers are just for you.
Let’s say you live in the middle of nowhere, your nearest neighbour is half a mile up the road.
There is no mains gas in your area, and you want a new boiler.
Your existing central heating system is powered by oil.
You want to convert over to gas because the old boiler is a little bit on the smelly side, as well as expensive to run.
Then these boilers are just for you.
All you need is somewhere to store the LPG cylinders or the gas storage tank.
LPG condensing boilers are a lot cleaner than oil, better for the environment, and cheaper to run.
Most boiler manufacturers produce an LPG version of their most popular boilers.
If this sounds like you, then contact your local Gas Safe LPG Installer to discuss your needs.
He will be able to advise you on, what model boiler you need for your property.
As well as the location for the gas cylinders or storage tank.
All gas boilers, be it natural gas or LPG, are much better than oil boilers to use, as well as cheaper to use.
Please remember, only someone registered to work on gas can carry out the work for you, they must also be registered to work with LPG.
All gas engineers carry a gas safe card with them, which will tell you what they can work on.
So be sure to check it.
